I founded Path to Admissions in 2013 because navigating the college admissions process should not be stressful. It should be an exciting time for both students and families. We will bring empathy and compassion to the process. We want you and your student to feel that all possibilities have been examined and considered. We provide individual college admission counseling to high school students and their families because each student is unique. There are many options for higher education. We work with a limited number of students per year so we can remain available to you during the entire process. Passionate about finding your student the right major, the right university for them, we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. This includes advising, organization and work sessions, and reminders of application and scholarship deadlines. Please look at our services page and if you have any comments or questions, contact us.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Oklahoma State University. Several years ago I started volunteering at my daughter's high school in the guidance and counseling office. There I saw a need for some students and families to work with an independent college admissions counselor. I went back to school and completed my certification in College Admissions Counseling through the University of California, San Diego. I am a member of the Texas Association of College Admission Counselors (TACAC), a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). These are all are selective professional organizations for college counselors that have Standards of Good Practice and provide continuing educational opportunities for me. I will keep all client information confidential.
