Lisa and Kendall are both available to give presentations on college admissions to your group. If you have a group of parents or work with high school students and would like either of us to present information to your group please contact us. Generally these presentations are done pro bono.
Examples of items we would present:
areas of personal interest and how those relate to majors in college
how college admission works at public and private colleges
how to determine cost of attendance at college
what items are necessary in college applications
information about how the application process works
how financial aid and scholarships work
how to choose between programs or schools and things to ask on school visits.
WORKSHOPS: If you have a small group of students and would like us to work with them in a group setting on a specific type of application we would be happy to discuss that option. Kendall and Lisa both have run small group workshops (one day only for Apply Texas schools) or 3 days that cover Common App, essays and application help. Pricing for workshops would depend on location and number of students interested. Please contact us for availability.
Rising high school seniors have different options available to them.
The individual student-family option is one choice, which encompasses everything about college admissions, career guidance and scholarships. We highly recommend you contact us at the beginning of your student's JUNIOR year in high school. We take a limited number of students each year so that each family can have the time they need during the application process. Please see Seniors under this tab for more information.
We offer Personalized consultation as an individual meeting for students and families who need feedback on specific schools, programs, or schools to consider.
